Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth (SASY)
Children as young as 6 years old can enjoy a new experience in the water snorkeling with equipment that is similar to the scuba gear. It combines a costume-sized regulator and a 13 cubic foot size tank witch fit in to a special holder of the vest. The SASY vest (buoyancy compensator) is made with pouches that are filled with foam, which provides ample buoyancy and ensures that the child floats vertically in the water when he or she isn't moving.
The SASY system allows your child to breathe continually while keeping their faces in the water so they don't miss the excitements of the underwater world.
SASY in the pool
It includes a short equipment briefing and skills assessment; kids must have reasonable aquatic ability. Then all fun and games! Total Time Approx. 45 - 50 min.
It's perfect for a "unique" birthday party for your child and friends.
SASY in Lejaine
The pool experience is advisable before the open water experience but not a prerequisite; an equipment briefing and skills assessment will be made by one of our instructors on board. Must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.
