Open Water / Jr. Open Water
Here's your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventures with PADI! As a certified Open Water Diver you'll have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. The Open Water Course is the base of the PADI System and, like any other activity, requires some time and effort.
The course is divided in to three main areas:
- Knowledge Development:
The 5 modules of your O.W. book will develop your familiarity with the principals and procedures of diving. - Confine Water Sessions:
Within 5 sessions, each building upon the previous, you will be able to master all scuba skills. These are done in a pool or in a body of water with pool-like conditions. - Open Water Dives:
In 4 open water dives, you'll be able to put on practice, and show that you have master, everything you have learn in the previous areas at a dive site. For these dives you will have the option to join us in our sailing trips towards the Musandam Peninsula (2 dives per trip).
Before completion you must complete a 200 m swim and a 10 min. tread water.
